Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about requesting flights, fares, payments, and travel with Wow My Flight.
Booking & Requests
How does booking with Wow My Flight work?
Search for your flight, choose the option you like, and click Request. Share your name, phone number, and email, verify your phone number, and one of our travel specialists will get in touch to assist with the booking and finalize your ticket.
Am I charged when I submit a request?
No. Submitting a request on our website does not take any payment. Our specialist will contact you to confirm the itinerary, fare, and conditions before any purchase is completed. Please note that a booking request does not guarantee ticket issuance — a booking is only confirmed once payment is verified and an e-ticket number is generated.
Why do I need to verify my phone number?
After you submit a request, we send a one-time code by SMS to the number you entered. Verifying it confirms that our team can reach you on the right number to discuss your trip.
Are the prices shown on the website guaranteed?
Fares are subject to availability and may change or be withdrawn at any time until full payment is processed and e-tickets are issued. Real-time quotes provided online or by phone reflect current availability and cannot be guaranteed until ticketing is complete.
What currency are prices shown in?
All prices are displayed in USD ($) unless otherwise specified.
Why are some fares available only by phone?
Some of our discounted fares are exclusive, non-published, or contract fares that are not available on public airline search engines. To access these rates, bookings must be confirmed through our dedicated phone lines.
Changes, Cancellations & Refunds
Are tickets refundable?
Unless a ticket is expressly labeled as a “Fully Refundable Ticket” in writing before purchase, tickets are non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-assignable after issuance. See our Refund, Cancellation & Chargeback Policy.
Can I cancel within 24 hours of booking?
For reservations originating in or departing from the United States booked at least seven (7) days before departure, cancellations requested within 24 hours of booking confirmation may be eligible for a refund or void under U.S. DOT guidelines. These requests remain subject to an agency handling fee of up to $50.00 USD per ticket.
What does it cost to change or cancel a ticket?
Changes and cancellations are subject to the airline’s fare rules and penalties, which can equal 100% of the ticket value. Where permitted, we also charge a non-refundable processing fee of $100 per passenger for exchanges and $150 per passenger for cancellation/refund requests. Booking and service fees are non-refundable.
What happens if the airline cancels or changes my flight?
Refund or rebooking options for airline-initiated cancellations, weather groundings, or schedule changes are set by the operating airline’s Contract of Carriage. We will assist you in processing schedule changes; agency service fees remain non-refundable.
Can I change the passenger name on a ticket?
Tickets are non-transferable. Name corrections are governed by airline rules and are generally not permitted once a ticket has been issued, so please make sure names match your passport exactly.
Payments & Security
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and authorized bank wires.
Can I pay with a card that isn't in the traveler's name?
Yes, but if the cardholder is not traveling we may ask for a signed Third-Party Credit Card Authorization Form, a valid government-issued photo ID, and card verification before the e-ticket is issued.
Is my personal and payment information secure?
Payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways, and we do not store full unencrypted card numbers on our servers. We also use TLS/SSL encryption, address and CVV checks, and 3D Secure authentication. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
I have a billing question or dispute. What should I do?
Please contact our billing team first at support@wowmyflight.com — we'll work with you to resolve it before you raise a dispute with your card issuer.
Travel Documents & Baggage
Who is responsible for passports and visas?
Each passenger is responsible for holding valid travel documents, including passports, transit or entry visas, and any health certificates required by destination or transit countries. Most international destinations require your passport to be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your return date.
How much baggage is included with my ticket?
Checked and carry-on allowances are set by the operating airline. Premium fares generally include checked baggage, but some discounted or partner-operated segments may have restrictions or extra fees. Check your e-ticket itinerary or ask your flight specialist for confirmed details.
Can I request a specific seat, meal, or special assistance?
Yes. Seat assignments, meal requests, and special services such as bassinets or mobility assistance are submitted to the airline on your behalf. We'll do our best to secure your preferences, but final assignment is at the airline’s discretion.
